On the floor with Jai
Twelve things worth knowing
Say it, or press it. Both log the same thing.
- "next" move to the next exercise
- "eight" · "got eight"8# logs eight reps at the prescribed weight
- "done"# logs the set exactly as prescribed
- "that machine's taken" moves it later, brings the next one forward
- "my shoulder's sore today" eases off today only — forgotten tomorrow
- "only got four" drops the weight for the rest of the session
- "I've only got twelve minutes" cuts it down to what matters
- "undo that" reverses the last change, yours or Jai's
- "why?" the reason for the number you were just given
- "stop" ends the session
- "water" logs a glass
- "repeat"* says the last thing again
The keypad
For a gym you'd rather not talk in, or when the bar is still on your chest.
- Set done, as prescribed#
- That many reps, at the prescribed weight8#
- Say that again*
- What are my options0
Works on every phone. No app. It logs exactly the same as saying it out loud.
Your earbuds
In the app, with the phone in a pocket. Nothing to look at, nothing to tap.
- Set done, as prescribedpinch
- Move on — skip the restpinch ×2
- Say the numbers againhold
Same result as saying it, and same result as the keypad. Jai only records which one you used so we can tell what people actually reach for.
